Muling idadaos ng Solar Entertainment at National Basketball Association ang NBA asia Challenge sa Araneta Coliseum sa Agosto 27.
Ayon kay Vitto Lazatin ng Solar,planong paratingin sa pilipinas ang dalawang dating manlalaro ng Houston Rockets na sina Hakeem Olajuwon at Clyde Drexler,kasama si Penny Hardaway at ilang mga manlalaro ng NBA developmental League,para sa ikalawang pagkataon pagtatanghal ng NBA Asia Challenge.

The NBA knows how popular Basketball is in the Philippines so they making sure of bringing in quality roster.We got a bonus last year when Kareem(Abdul Jabbar) showed up with the coaching staff ,Maybe,well get another bonus this year.As it is,we know the visitors will include an NBA dance team and a mascot.Well be creating an actual NBA experience for the Filipino Fans.
Noong isang taon,naglaro sina Dominique Wilkins,Robert Horry,Tim Hardaway at Vlade Divac para sa NBA legends na tumambak sa PBA Allstar,109-86 sa Big Dome.

"We expect to set up practicedfor the players to get the familiar with each other,for the coaches to deicde the role and who does what.Well see a lot of offense,thats for sure-alleyopps,three pointers,dunk and dazzling passes.But the team able to play better defense will have a big advantage.Chemistry will be an issue.I think the game wont only be fun to wathch but also,a big thrill for Filipino Fans.personally,I cant wait for the tipoff,"pagtatapos ni Lazatin.
