In its 37 colorful years, the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) has been a showcase of both individual and team excellence resulting to outputs that finds its way to the league record books. Here is a look at some of the outstanding individual and team records entrenched in the Book of PBA Records.

Scoring

Total Points In One Game

Among the locals, Allan Caidic holds the record for most points in a game at 79 which he established on November 21, 1991 against Ginebra San Miguel. His scoring prowess earned him the monicker "The Triggerman."

Among the imports, it was Tony Harris who holds the record for most points in a game at 105. He established the record on October 10, 1992 against Ginebra San Miguel at Iloilo City.

Most Points In A Half

For the imports, Tony Harris set the record for most points in a half with 59 points which he also established on October 10, 1992 in Iloilo City.

Among the imports, Michael Hackett scored 33 points in one quarter on his way to scoring 103 points in their victory against Great Taste on November 21, 1985.

Ricardo Brown, who played for Great Taste and for Northern Cement, holds the record for the best All-Time scoring average of 23.1 points per game. He was the PBA's scoring leader for three straight years from 1985 to 1987.

Individual Single Game Records  BATES

Among the imports, the man called "The Black Superman" Billy Ray Bates holds the record for the best scoring average with his 46.2 points per game over the 98 games he played. His lowest output in a game was 28 points.
