League-leader Far Eastern University seeks its 10th win of the season when it battles fourth-running La Salle this Saturday in the 73rd UAAP basketball tournament at the Araneta Coliseum.
The Tamaraws gained the first Final Four berth when it downed University of Santo Tomas, 76-67, last Saturday.
Although he’s happy and proud that they were the ones who first clinched a semis berth, coach Glenn Capacio said they can’t relax since they want to have the winning feeling when the Final Four round comes.
"Kailangan di kami maging complacent sa mga susunod na mga laro namin," said Capacio. "Dapat mas sharp pa kami sa mga remaining games, lalo na sa susunod na laban namin against La Salle."
Knowing the Archers are eager to rebound from a crushing 74-57 loss to Ateneo, Capacio said they have to be ready with their rivals’ vaunted full court press when they clash at 4 p.m.
University of Santo Tomas battles winless University of the Philippines at 2 p.m. with the Tigers eyeing a win to revive their faltering semis bid alive.
