It was a revenge game alright, a revenge game for the returning king. LeBron James had his best game of the season in his return to Cleveland as the Miami Heat routed the Cavaliers, 118-90, on Thursday (Friday in Manila).
LeBron was booed throughout the game by fans who felt betrayed by his move to leave the Cavaliers and join Miami in the off season.
But instead of wilting under the pressure, LeBron showed the Cavs the franchise player they were missing.
The All-Star forward had 38 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists in just 3 quarters of play as he sat out the entire fourth quarter.
Teammate Dwyane Wade also had a near triple double with 22, 9 and 9.
Miami improved to 12-8 while the Cavs dropped to 7-11. -- report from ANC
