During the 2009-10 season, reigning two-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant had the top-selling NBA jersey in China for the fourth consecutive season. The Miami Heat's LeBron James, who played for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season, came in at No. 2, followed by the Orlando Magic's Dwight Howard, Boston Celtics' Kevin Garnett, and Chicago Bulls' Derrick Rose who moved up to No. 5. The rankings are based on sales from retail locations across the country throughout the entire 2009-10 season. adidas is the Official On-court Uniform and Apparel Provider of the NBA.
Coming off of his first All-Star season, one in which he became the youngest NBA scoring champion in history, Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder made the top 10 for the first time. All-Star Deron Williams, of the Utah Jazz, also made the list for the first time. Following their second appearance in The Finals in three seasons, a trio of Celtics earned spots in the top 10, including Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce. New Orleans Hornets' Chris Paul again earned a place on the list, moving up one spot to No. 6.
