Manila Philippines- Four days after turning far Eastern University into a bloody pulp,Ateneo De Manila University goes for a sweep of the UAAP Final this Thursday at the Araneta Coliseum.
The Blue Eagles crushed Tamaraws,72-49 Sunday holding them to just 27 percent field goal shooting.
Ateneo coach Norman Black,however is not counting out the team that won 10of 12 elimination match.
'Our players are doing fines.Were making sure that we enter Game2 with a sense of urgency of finishing FEU because we know that they could come back and make it series," sadi Black who is eying a third straigth championship for the Eagles and sixth overall
Game time is set at 4pm
Black,an accomplisehd PBA coach,is no stranger to championship pressure.
In 1989,the former PBA import steered in San Miguel Beer to three consecutive titles for his grandslam feat.
Purefoods which lost to the Beermen in the All Filipino Finals,had Glenn Capacio as one of its player.
The manner which the Eagles dispossed of the Tamaraws in Game 1 raised suspicions of Game fixing

In the Game1,The tamaraws gave up 15points early and played catch up througtout the game.Aside from poor field goal shooting.theyre outrebounded,46-40 yielded 15 points transition and 16 more off turnovers
"Nakikita namin na talaga gusto manalo ang team makikita palang yung desire nila pag nakapasok na kami sa court."said Capacio."Gumawa kami ng kunting adjustment kasi nung Game1 halos kulang kami sa ikot ng bola at nawala ung depensa namin."
Ateneo will gained be powered by Kirk Long,Eric Salamat,Justin Chua,Eman Monfort and surprised Game1 hero JP Erram,who at 6foot7 neutralized FEU in the shaed lane.
Ateneo starting center Jason Escueta who served as one game suspension Sunday,set to return this Thursday.
RR Garcia,who will received his Most Valuable Player(MVP)award before the game,Aldrech Ramos,Reil Cervantes and Rookie Of The Year Terrence Romeo hope to step up for the Tamaraws.
Meanwhile,Adamson seeks to win back to back titles in the women basketball divison when it goes for the knocout punch against FEU in Game2 of their own titles series at 11 a.m.
