Metro Manila police will remain on full alert at least until October 25, the day of the Barangay (village) and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK, youth council) elections.
Radio dzBB's Denver Trinidad reported on Thursday that Metro Manila police director Chief Superintendent Nicanor Bartolome instructed police personnel to ensure peaceful polls on Monday.
