| [img]  [/img] He’s not LeBron James(notes), but he’ll do. The Knicks, in need of a point guard after Chris Duhon(notes) signed with Orlando, will sign Raymond Felton, according to ESPN.com. The number of years on the deal isn’t known yet, but Felton’s salary is expected to be in the neighborhood of $7 million. The Knicks cleared out salary space leading up to this summer’s free agency period and Felton, who is the best free agent point guard according to SN’s Sean Deveney, will be the second big signing to go along with Amare Stoudemire. Felton had played in Charlotte ever since being drafted by the Bobcats in 2005. He led the franchise to its first ever playoff appearance this season. | |
