for the Purefoods
Tender Juicy Giants in the Philippine Basketball
Association. He plays the Power Forward and Small Forward positions.

After a promising rookie year
in 2005, Salvador�s performance in the league has dipped each year
mainly because of a recurring injury. From 7.8 points per game in his
rookie year, his numbers went down to 4.0 the next year, 4.6 the
following year and just 1.8 last season.

If Salvador can stay healthy this coming season, Purefoods will be a
tough team to beat in the Philippine Cup. The former St. Benilde star
played just 16 games last year, most of them in the All-Filipino.
Salvador can play a crucial role in the Giants� quest to reclaim the
Philippine Cup title if he gets the minutes in the team�s crowded
frontcourt
