The 27-year old Papua New
Guinea-born center just signed a new three-year extension deal and it
just shows the confidence of management on him. Now one of the most
talented big men in the league, Thoss will be one of the cornerstones of
the Aces� hunt for an all-Filipino title this season.

The six-foot-seven center started in 42 of the 47 games of Alaska this
past season and averaged 8.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. His 54.79
percent clip from the field ranked third among locals in the league,
enough proof of his efficiency on the floor.the lane.

The 6-7 Thoss started in 48 out of 53 games for the Aces last season and
averaged career-highs in scoring (10.1 ppg), rebounding (6.3 rpg),
free-throw percentage (70.9%) and field-goal percentage (57.6%), the
latter figure ranking second overall among all locals behind only Marc
Pinrgis's 58.7 percent clip. Cone expects the 25-year old center to
improve further this season.
