MANILA, Philippines – The San Beda Red Lions will try to complete a historic sweep of the men’s basketball eliminations in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) on Wednesday.
Their last outing will be a rematch with defending champions San Sebastian Stags.
San Beda won their first round meeting, 88-76.
The Red Lions have so far won all their 15 games. No team has yet won 16 straight games in the same season in NCAA history.
If they complete a sweep, they will advance straight to the finals with a thrice-to-beat advantage. -- ANC
