MANILA, Philippines - It would be a rainy weekend until All Saints’ Day, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its weekend forecast yesterday.
Pagasa said the country would be expecting rain showers and thunderstorms in most parts of the country because of the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
In its weekend weather outlook, the state weather bureau said the approach of the tailend of a cold front would also induce more rains and thunderstorms in most parts of the country.
There would be widespread rains over Eastern Visayas and Northern Mindanao tomorrow.
The rest of Luzon, on the other hand, would have good weather conditions and cooler temperatures in the morning.
As for eastern Luzon, it would have cloudy skies with light rains on Nov. 1 due to the expected approach of the tailend of a cold front.
